Rocío Tenaglia is a Berlin-based visual artist, photographer and filmmaker.
The diversity of her Latin American, Italian and Andalusian roots shaped the way she sees the world and her passion for stories, native plants, communities and culture. Her practice explores biomes and territories, migration, intimacy, rituals and subtle forms of communication.
Mainly producing short films, photo series, poetry and texts, drawings, cyanotypes, photo books and fanzines.
After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts and Communication she immersed herself in filmmaking through studies in 2D Animation. In 2024, she was selected to take part in D&AD Shift Germany.
Her training also includes courses of screen printing, script writing, digital marketing, editing & post-production, darkroom developing, hand printing, storyboard and cyanotype.
